Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu Dear Sunday school families, This is a quick reminder that we do NOT have classes this coming Sunday (September 4 2022) due to the Labor Day holiday. Please also note that as the school year progresses we may not send you calendar reminders since we would expect that all our weekend school families would be familiar with our calendar for our current school year. Our calendar is available at our school website that can be accessed via the Masjid Bilal website https://www.masjidbilalky.org/services and selecting weekend school on the drop down menu. Dear Sunday school students and families,
Alhamdulillah, as we begin our new 2022/2023 in-person school year, we would like to welcome both our new students as well as our returning students who have registered for classes.
We hope all our families have read our school rules & regulations, our school calendar as well as all the other relevant information available at our school website. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
This year unlike in previous years, we are very fortunate to have our new Imam Dr. Shaheed Coovadia helping us with the functioning of our school. He would inshaAllah be conducting our Assembly this coming Sunday(8/21/2022) at 11.05 am, and is looking forward to meeting both the parents and students of our school. In addition to addressing our students, he is also hoping to share some plans and ideas that could benefit our weekend school families too. We hope you can all come and join us for assembly this coming Sunday.
May Allah(SWT) Grant all of us at the weekend school His Guidance, Help and Blessings to enable us to have a very good and successful school year. Aameen.

Student has to be 5 years old by 1 August 2022 to register for school. Please click HERE to register your child.
