Jumu'ah Prayer Poll

The EC of Masjid Bilal is considering changing the times for Jumu'ah prayer. The objective is to accommodate the participants evenly in both prayer and this change may also help to resolve the parking problem, InshaAllah.

The new timings, if implemented, will be “year-round”. Keep in mind that, there is within the shari’ah a special dispensation for Jumu’ah prayers to be performed before the start time for Dhuhr.

This poll is to determine the best course of action among regular attendees.

Please vote IF you are a regular or frequent attendee of Jumu'ah prayers at Masjid Bilal Ibn Rabah.

Our Proposal is to change the time of Friday Prayers as follows:

FIRST PRAYER: Khutbah at 1:00 PM and Iqamah at 1:30 PM.

SECOND PRAYER: Khutbah at 2:00 PM and Iqamah at 2:30 PM
